Karma

Karma

For those of us who believe in karmic relationships with other souls, I’m sharing some words of wisdom. For the past few years, I’ve encountered other souls with whom there were serious karma that needed to be addressed, however, at the time I wasn’t aware of what was happening so I played right into the horrible karmic cycle. So instead of working through the negative karma and seeing it for what it was, we actually created more negative karma. Now that I’m away from those relationships, I can see clearly what went wrong but now it’s too late to correct the situation and so I feel sad that those negative cycles will play out again in the future. My advice if you are experiencing struggle in a relationship, try to separate ego and emotion and focus on fact and how you can experience growth. Don’t fall prey to the karmic BS cycle.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness

This word is thrown around a lot. In reality, forgiveness is about learning a lesson from an experience. It’s isn’t about the other soul, their actions, their words or what they did or didn’t do. It is about you allowing yourself to release all emotions; pain, shame, guilt, anger, sadness, betrayal or anything else which you are holding on too. Forgiveness is about releasing all of that and has to do with your ego. From a soul perspective, at the core, there is only unconditional love. This is the lesson I’ve learned in my own life. Everything that happens in your life, happens for a reason. The key is to ask yourself- what is the lesson? If it happens over and over again- it probably means you aren’t learning or applying the lesson.

My Destination

My Destination

We are still connected in spirit with those who are not with us anymore. They continue to walk beside us when we are lost. They serve as our angel guides when we are sad. They shine a light on our path so we can find our way back home.
Yes! We are still connected.
Tonight, my heart is full because I’m so blessed to be connected with a beautiful warrior spirit.
She continues to serve as a light being for so many others.
May her daughters and granddaughters be filled with spirit love

The Journey

One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice —
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
“Mend my life!”
each voice cried.
But you didn’t stop.
You knew what you had to do,
though the wind pried
with its stiff fingers
at the very foundations,
though their melancholy
was terrible.
It was already late
enough, and a wild night,
and the road full of fallen
branches and stones.
But little by little,
as you left their voices behind,
the stars began to burn
through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice
which you slowly
recognized as your own,
that kept you company
as you strode deeper and deeper
into the world,
determined to do
the only thing you could do —
determined to save
the only life you could save.

“The essence of love and compassion is understanding, the ability to recognize the physical, material, and psychological suffering of others, to put ourselves “inside the skin” of the other. We “go inside” their body, feelings, and mental formations, and witness for ourselves their suffering. Shallow observation as an outsider is not enough to see their suffering. We must become one with the subject of our observation. When we are in contact with another’s suffering, a feeling of compassion is born in us. Compassion means, literally, “to suffer with.” ~ Thich Nhat Hanh

Soul’s View

Soul's View

“From the soul’s point of view, you come to appreciate that each one of us is living out his or her own karma. We interact together, and those interactions are the grist for each other’s mill of awakening. From a personality point of view, you develop judgment , but from the souls point of view, you develop appreciation. The shift from judging to appreciation- to appreciating yourself and what your karmic predicament is, and who other beings are with their own karma- brings everything into a simple loving awareness.”
