I think the new moon has something to do with my emotions and energy today! I’ve felt sad and lonely even though I’ve been doing a lot of things. Funny how we stay busy so we don’t feel our emotions. Sending good wishes to the universe for a peaceful night and a blessed month ahead.

Tapping Solution

As you tap on anger, it may clear away- leaving a different layer, such as sadness. Then, as you tap through the sadness, you may realize that you actually are frustrated… And so it continues until you fully clear an issue. Working through these layers might seem tedious at first! But the reality is, emotional, physical and spiritual experiences are often multi layered. Unless we address every layer or aspect of an issue we can’t hope to fully clear it.

Every morning
the world
is created.
Under the orange

sticks of the sun
the heaped
ashes of the night
turn into leaves again

and fasten themselves to the high branches —
and the ponds appear
like black cloth
on which are painted islands

of summer lilies.
If it is your nature
to be happy
you will swim away along the soft trails

for hours, your imagination
alighting everywhere.
And if your spirit
carries within it

the thorn
that is heavier than lead —
if it’s all you can do
to keep on trudging —

there is still
somewhere deep within you
a beast shouting that the earth

Today I’m feeling sad and blue, it’s a low energy cycle week. I don’t know if it’s the new moon or I’m just missing my old routine, old friends….what life was…when things were more simple, before all the transitions and awakenings and messages.
Some days letting go of your past is easier than other days, especially the things you have no control over. One has to reprogram one’s mind to the new way of processing and feeling. When I’m feeling this way, I try to meditate, stay in the present moment and use positive affirmations. One mindful practice that is working is visualing myself standing under a waterfall and cleansing and healing from all the wounds. I see a bright light on the other side of the water. I stand there. A second one is to imagine myself in a big protective bubble, a orb that has nothing but love and positive energy. Both of these practices are helping. I know this is temporary and these emotions shall pass.

Morning Blessings,

Today I’m feeling a little sad and lonely and that is okay. This is something new for me, allowing myself to express all all of my emotions is living an authentic life. Society forces us to put on a happy face even when we are hurting inside. Tears can be very cleansing for your soul. Check in with yourself, with your body and ask yourself? How am I feeling? What does my body need from me to take care of myself? I’ve spent so much of my life nurturing and caring for others that I forgot to take care of me. My life shifted when I realized that I needed to stop and let the world be. Loving yourself first is so important. So do something good for yourself today. Look in the mirror. What do you need?

Listening to our body and checking in with our emotions on a regular basis is extremely important. Are we on an emotional roller coaster? Are we feeling angry or sad? Anger is a temporary emotion but it can wreck havoc on your body. Try to get to the root cause of what you are feeling? Is there a healthy way to release this emotion? As a society we are taught to suppress our emotions, this isn’t healthy for the mind or the body. Let the wave of emotion pass through your body. Release and let go of that feeling. Breathe in peace, calm and try to get to forgiveness for anyone who has hurt you. Holding toxic feelings inside your body can harm you.
