Be Ready

Be Ready

Sunday Blessings,
A special shout out to all the wonderful fathers on this Father’s Day. I’m blessed to have my dad in my life. We’ve had some ups and downs in our relationship but I know in my heart that he has done the best he could as a dad and that is fine. I’ve learned to let go of judgement towards my parents, they were very young and sort of figured out parenthood along the way.

The Fault In Our Stars

The Fault In Our Stars

“Pain has to be felt”

Phenomenal quote from the romantic tragic new film, The Fault In Our Stars. I hadn’t read the book but I wanted to see this movie. It was very therapeutic for me. Having lost a family member to Cancer only four months ago, I knew it would be hard for me to watch the film. But my mantra for this year is resilience so I went to see it by myself. As soon as I heard the quote- Pain has to be felt, I felt a sense of peace and a healing sensation in my body. I’ve never cried in a movie as much as I did today but the tears were cleansing and made me feel lighter. We all have to die someday, some sooner, some later. The love and connection we feel with our soul families continues even after they are no longer with us. I finally understand the meaning of feeling your pain and not trying to runaway or escape from it. This was an amazing experience!
So tonight’s blessing is for other precious souls to not be afraid of feeling your pain.

Space & Time

Space & Time

Some times you have to love people from a distance and give them the space and time to get their minds right before you let them back in your life.

Letting Go

Letting Go

Some people believe holding on and hanging in there are signs of great strength. However, there are times when it takes much more strength to know when to let go and then do it.”
